Lydia Hofmann is a PhD candidate at the Research Centre for Education and the Labour Market (ROA) at the School of Business and Economics. Under supervision of Prof. Tim Huijts and Prof. Philippe Delespaul, she investigates early predictors of school success of children and teenagers in the Netherlands. Her focus lies on their physical, mental and social health and behavior and how they influence educational performance and trajectory. Lydia obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and her research Master’s degree in Cognitive Neuroscience from Maastricht University.
