A. de Grip

Andries de Grip is hoogleraar economie aan het Researchcentrum voor Onderwijs en Arbeidsmarkt (ROA), School of Business and Economics (SBE), Universiteit Maastricht. Hij is Research Fellow van de Graduate School of Business and Economics van de Universiteit Maastricht, IZA (Bonn) en Netspar (Universiteit Tilburg). Daarnaast is hij lid van de Raad van Toezicht van de Maastricht School of Management (MSM) en voorzitter van de redactieraad van Netspar. Hij was directeur van ROA en projectleider van een groot aantal arbeidsmarktonderzoeksprojecten namens o.a. diverse ministeries, het UWV en de Europese Commissie. Hij studeerde (cum laude) af aan de Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, waar hij ook zijn doctoraat behaalde. Hij heeft veel studies gepubliceerd op het gebied van arbeidseconomie, met name met betrekking tot een leven lang leren, mismatches in vaardigheden, duurzame inzetbaarheid, human resource management, segmentatie van de arbeidsmarkt, upgrading en overscholing, arbeidsmobiliteit, pensioen en arbeidsmarktprognoses.
