Suzanne de Leeuw is a researcher at the Research Centre for Education and the Labour Market (ROA) at Maastricht University. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Sociology at the University of Amsterdam and a master’s degree in Social Sciences at the same university. Afterwards she continued with a PhD on the intergenerational transmission of educational inequalities after divorce and remarriage. At ROA, she is a researcher at the Education Lab directed by Inge de Wolf. Education Lab is a research network of academics, inspectors, school leaders and other professionals in education. The research projects of the workplace aim to increase the quality of education practice and policy, by disentangling mechanisms and measuring effects of interventions at schools. ​
