Regional and Sector Research

Research within this theme focuses on submarkets in the labour market. The ROA conducts research into individual sectors, professions and regions with regard to the demand for workers, their skills, the match between the supply of training and graduates, and potential labour market bottlenecks for employers. In this context, we conduct research into, for example, the labour market for teachers and accountants, the green, metal-electro and energy sectors, the labour markets in Gelderland and Limburg, and the macro-effectiveness of various higher education programmes in the natural sciences and health.
