ROA-BIBB collaboration

The ROA and the BIBB have concluded a long-term agreement for collaboration. The BIBB (Bundesinstitut für Berufsbildung, in English: Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training) is located in Bonn (Germany) and conducts research on vocational education and training. The collaboration between the ROA en the BIBB covers many activities, such as staff exchange, joint research projects, data access and guest lectures. To further promote our collaboration, prof. dr. Harald Pfeifer, head of the division Economics of VET (Vocational Education and Training) at the BIBB, has got an endowed chair at the ROA on the very same topic.

Concrete activities in which ROA and the BIBB are connected are listed below:

• Participation in Scientific Advisory Boards by ROA researchers
• PhD projects that are jointly supervised by ROA and BIBB professors and senior researchers
• Many BIBB researchers are research fellow or post-doc researcher at the ROA
• Joint participation in research projects for scientific articles or policy reports
