D. Eijkenboom
Danique Eijkenboom is a Researcher at the Research Centre for Education and the Labour Market (ROA). He obtained a bachelor’s degree in International Business and a master’s degree in International Business, specialising in Strategic Marketing, at Maastricht University’s School of Business and Economics (SBE).
His interest in research was sparked during his early years in sports journalism, where he explored stories beyond scores and results; focusing instead on patterns, context, and the bigger picture. This curiosity gradually expanded beyond sports, drawing him into the world of scientific inquiry. He is currently part of the ai:conomics project, where he studies how digital technologies such as AI are reshaping the future of work. In addition, he is involved in the project ‘Kansrijke determinatie with the help of a dashboard’, which examines how AI can contribute to determining an appropriate track-placement recommendation for students
