E. Vanluydt
Elien Vanluydt is is a postdoctoral researcher at the Research Centre for Education and the Labour Market (ROA) at the School of Business and Economics. She is a qualified speech pathologist and audiologist with a PhD in Educational Sciences from KU Leuven (Belgium). Her PhD focused on the early development and stimulation of mathematical abilities. As a postdoctoral researcher at Curtin University (Perth, Australia), she worked on an MRFF funded project investigating risk and protective factors of mental health in the transition to high school among children with language and literacy difficulties. She is a member of Language and Literacy in Young People (LALYP; https://languageandliteracyinyoungpeople.com), a group of researchers passionate about language and literacy difficulties and their impact on child wellbeing and mental health. In her new postdoc position at Maastricht University, she will work on the EPoSS-project that investigates Early Predictors of School Success.
