ROA-IAB collaboration

The cooperation agreement between the ROA and the IAB (Institut für Arbeidsmarkt- und Berufsforschung, in English: Institute for Employment Research) of the Federal Employment Agency (Bundesagentur für Arbeit) is intended to formalise the existing cooperation and further deepen it in the areas of research, education and other academic areas. The collaboration between the ROA en the IAB covers many areas such as the exchange of researchers and PhD students, joint research projects, data access, internships and workshops, and guest lectures. Two examples of joint activities are:

• The ROA participates in the Scientific Advisory Board of the  Fachkräftemonitoring (Skilled Labour Monitoring) that is conducted by the IAB (and also the BIBB) for the German Ministry of Labour
• The ROA and the IAB jointly conduct a research project on Artificial Intelligence (AI).
