Inge de Wolf (ROA, Education Lab NL) and her team have been awarded an NWO grant for research on the consequences and opportunities of COVID-19 for primary schools and their students. This project is a unique collaboration between academics, schools, school boards, the city of Amsterdam and the inspectorate of education. The project (a) develops toolkits for primary schools to deal with COVID-19 challenges, (b) provides information on effects on their students at the school, regional and national level and (c) presents results on the effectiveness of various types of distance learning during the COVID19-crisis in the Netherlands.
UM-partners in this project are Rolf van der Velden, Tijana Breuer, Carla Haelermans, Roxanne Korthals, Sanne van Wetten and Stan Vermeulen (all ROA, SBE).
