Secondly, Julian uses a unique German dataset and a dynamic propensity matching method to assess the employment effects of subsidized IT training for the unemployed. Thirdly, he investigates gender disparities in wage outcomes from subsidized training programs utilizing a decomposition analysis.

Besides the PhD, Julian works as Tech Education Lead at ReDI School of Digital Integration in Berlin. He designs and coordinates educational programs for displaced individuals to enhance their employability in the tech sector.
