Davey Poulissen
Davey Poulissen works as a Statistical Researcher at the Centre of Expertise for Globalisation at Statistics Netherlands (CBS) in Heerlen. This department studies and describes economic phenomena with a clear international dimension. The statistics produced and the research carried out by this department facilitate the social debate and policy-making at both the national and supranational level.
Davey focuses on the international trade in services. Due to increasing globalisation and the increasing role of services in international trade, there is a growing demand for in-depth information on the international trade in services. In the coming years, several research and innovation projects will be carried out to meet this growing demand for statistics on the international trade in services.
Besides his work for Statistics Netherlands (CBS), Davey is a PhD candidate at the School of Business and Economics at Maastricht University.
